What you get

Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) uses Vodacom’s 5G and LTE mobile network to deliver broadband internet through a dedicated router. No physical cable to your premises — just a router that connects to the nearest tower. Available on 24-month or 36-month contracts with the router included in the monthly price.

Indoor pricing (self-install)

Indoor uses the Vodacom X25 MAX2 5G router — delivered to your door, plug in near a window, and connect. All prices include VAT.

Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Each speed tier includes a monthly data allocation. When you reach the FUP threshold, your speed is reduced (throttled) — not cut off. If usage continues beyond the hard lock, the connection pauses until the next billing cycle.

Indoor vs Outdoor — which do I need?

Indoor (self-install): The Vodacom X25 MAX2 5G router is delivered to your door. Place it near a window for the best signal. Plug in the power cable and you’re online. Ideal when you have reasonable signal indoors.

Outdoor (technician install): The ZTE MC889 5G outdoor CPE is mounted on your roof by a Vodacom-certified technician, connected to a Vodacom S90 Ultra indoor gateway via ethernet. Best for buildings with thick walls, poor indoor signal, or where the router can’t be placed near a window. The outdoor CPE locks onto the tower signal more effectively than an indoor unit.
